The Consortium Meeting of the EU-Instand NGS4P project took place in Florence, Italy on June 22-23, 2022, and was hosted by the University of Florence (Università degli Studi di Firenze | UniFI). It was the first face-to-face meeting since the 2020 Kick-off meeting in Graz due to corona pandemic restrictions.
The 2 day-meeting was opened by Kurt Zatloukal (Medical University of Graz, Austria) with a general overview of the project.
The objectives of the meeting were an update of the status for all work packages presented by the consortium members, followed by discussions about ethics, privacy, data security, sample collection, requirements for routine diagnostics, standardization of processes and quality assurance.
The meeting was also attended by a guest speaker, Prof. Francesca Tosi (Director of the Ergonomics and Design Laboratory, Univ. of Florence). The title of her talk was: Human centered design approach for health care and home care.
