Directions
From Brussels Airport (Zaventem)
- By Train : Take the IC train to Brussels-Luxembourg Station (approx. 20 minutes). From there, it’s a 10 minute walk to the European Parliament.
- By Bus : take STIB bus Line 12 (Brussels City) and stop at Luxembourg (it’s at 5 minutes walk from the European Parliament) – you can check the itineraries https://bit.ly/3FypF09
- By Taxi : Taxis are available outside the airport. The ride to the European Parliament takes approximately 30-40 minutes, depending on traffic.

From Brussels South Charleroi Airport
- By Bus : Take the flibco.com shuttle bus to Brussels-Midi Station (approx. 1 hour). From there, take a train to Brussels-Luxembourg Station (10 minutes) and walk to the European Parliament.
- By Taxi : Pre-book a taxi via Door2Gate by flibco.com or call Taxis Verts or Taxis Bleus .
From Brussels-Luxembourg Station (nearest train/metro station)
- Walking : Exit the station and head towards Place du Luxembourg . Walk straight for about 5 minutes until you reach Rue Wiertz / Wiertzstraat 60 , where the European Parliament is located.
From Brussels-Midi Station
- By Metro : Take Metro Line 2 or 6 (direction: Elisabeth) and get off at Trône Station . From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the European Parliament.
- By Taxi : Taxis are available outside the station.
From Brussels-Central Station
- By Metro : Take Metro Line 1 or 5 (direction: Stockel/Hermann-Debroux) and get off at Maelbeek Station . From there, it’s a 10-minute walk to the European Parliament.
- By Bus : Take Bus 38 (direction: Héros) and get off at Luxembourg Station . Walk to the European Parliament.
From Brussels-North Station
- By Train : Take the S8 train to Brussels-Luxembourg Station and walk to the European Parliament.

Security Check for the European Parliement
- The High Level Seminar starts at 14:00 CET
- All registered participants should gather at the entrance of the Alt. Spinelli Building in the esplanade Simone Weil Agora at the European Parliament at 13:00 latest on May 20th, where the FAVOTeam with INSTAND-NGS4P signposts will wait for you.
- Before coming to the meeting point, all participants should collect their badge from Station Europe building nearby, also on the Simone Weil Agora.
- Only registered participants will be able to pass the security check at the European Parliament.
- It is very important that you have with you your ID card or passport with which you registered for the event. Without it, you will not be allowed to pass the security check.
- The European Parliament Security officer will inform us when our turn to enter comes, because usually there are several groups that wait for entrance.
- All visitors pass their bags and coats from security control, no luggage is allowe in the European Parliament. European Parliament staff will guide participants by small groups to the conference room. Pls follow the people with the NGS signposts.
- When you arrive at the conference room, you are kindly asked to register with the secretariat or leave your business card by means of registration and take a seat. The event will start at 14:00 without waiting for all participants to be guided to the conference room.
